The Executive Chairman of Ovia South-West Local Government Area, Hon. Anthony Osarobo, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to developing the tourism potential of the council, identifying the sector as a strategic avenue for economic growth, employment generation and increased revenue.
In a statement signed by his Chief press Secretary, Osarodion Omoregbe, the Council boss gave the assurance while receiving a delegation from the Edo State Tourism Agency, led by its Director General, Lady Vivian Elabor, during a courtesy visit to the council chairman.
The delegation congratulated Osarobo on his assumption of office and commended his collaboration with the agency in advancing tourism development within Ovia South-West.
Responding, the chairman expressed appreciation for the visit and pledged to strengthen the council’s partnership with the agency to identify, develop and promote the area’s tourism assets.
