The Benue State Coordinator of Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP) Hon. Stephen Numbeve has dismissed in its entirety the purported ultimatum letter claimed to have been written and signed by unknown persons to Benue RAAMP circulating on social media giving RAAMP 7 days to pay them for the contracts executed for over a year or face peaceful protest on streets of Benue.
Hon. Numbeve also described the letter as fake and political motivated aimed at discrediting the speedy transformative agenda of Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, Executive Governor of Benue State within the short period in office.
Numbeve refuted the ultimatum letter while fielding questions from Journalists in a telephone conversation about the circulated ultimatum letter on Wednesday, Condemned the letter completely, explained that the people who signed the letter are not RAAMP Contractors but politicians who never meant well for Governor Alia’s administration.
He disclosed that Benue RAAMP under his watch is not owing any contractor and insisted that if anyone among the signatories of the letters claim that RAAMP is owing them should be board enough to approach RAAMP for the issue in question.
” RAAMP don’t give Contracts to individuals but to registered Companies”. Numbeve refuted.
The State RAAMP Coordinator urged the general public and the good people of the State to disregard the false information making around against RAAMP, describing it as baseless and unfounded fashioned by some political elements bent on discrediting Governor Alia’s Administration.
