NSCDC parades two for sexual Crimes in Nasarawa

The Nasarawa State Command of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corp (NSCDC) has arrested one James Luka 19 Years for raping a JSS three Student, Sarah James.
The incident took place at Ganga Village in Jenkwe Development Area of the State on January 30,2022.
Parading the suspect at the Command Headquarter Lafia, the State Capital, Spokesman of the Organization, ASC Victor Jerry said the victim lives with a relation and school in Imo State but on demand by the biological Mother she was brought home to see her parents who have not seen her for five Years.
According to him the victim was returning home at about 930pm from a Marriage ceremony that her sister’s friend had asked her to accompany her to attend that the suspect trailed her from the venue of the event to a spot on the road she was following, grabbed and dragged her to a dark place and forcefully had carnal knowledge of her. The suspect who admitted committing the crime, said he had earlier told her at the venue of the ceremony that he like her and would want both of them to be friends.
On her part, the victim Sarah James (12) Years, said ” while l was at the programme he called me and l refused, it was when l was coming back home alone that he followed me behind l never knew until when he held me and dragged me to one dark place because he used handkerchief to close my mouth, l couldn’t shout, l became helpless and he even said if l shout he was going to kill me”.
Meanwhile, the command has also arrested one 23 Years old Manu Yahaya for having a carnal Knowledge with a eight Years old boy, Salisu Abdullahi.
According to the Command Public Relations Officer, Victor Jerry, the incident occurred at Aso in Karu Local Government Council of the State.
The PRO who explained that the father of the victim Abdullahi Abubakar, reported the case of his child molestation, said the suspect lured the victim with food and soft drink to accept the act.
He said the father of the victim discovered that his son was not walking normal and upon inquiry the victim told his father what the suspect did to him. ASC Victor Jerry who explained that preliminary investigation by the Command has indicated that the suspect committed the crime, said he will soon be taking to the Court to face the Law of the land. In an interview, the suspect, Manu Yahaya who confessed to have committed the crime attributed it to the work of devil.
