The General Manager of the Ogun State Environmental Protection Agency, OGEPA, Hon. Kehinde Bello, has been appointed Deputy Director of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Ogun East Zonal Campaign Council ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Bello’s appointment was announced as part of a 74-member Campaign Council inaugurated to coordinate and drive campaign activities aimed at securing victory for all APC candidates in Ogun East Senatorial District.
According to the Campaign Council, the appointment recognizes Bello’s influence, grassroots support, and commitment to mobilisation across Ogun East, as well as his contributions to strengthening political participation and community engagement in the district.
Reacting to the appointment, Bello expressed appreciation to the party leadership for the confidence reposed in him. He described the position as “a call to greater responsibility and service” and pledged to contribute towards building a formidable grassroots campaign structure across the senatorial district.
“I am grateful to the APC Campaign Council for this opportunity. We will work to ensure that our party records resounding victory in Ogun East,” he said.
Bello also called on residents of Ogun East to come out in large numbers as campaign activities commence. He urged them to support the re-election bid of Governor Dapo Abiodun, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, and other APC candidates in 2027.
He expressed optimism that with effective grassroots mobilisation and a strong campaign structure, the APC would secure victory across all elective positions in Ogun East Senatorial District.
The 2027 Campaign Council is expected to coordinate party activities, voter sensitisation, and mobilisation efforts in Ijebu, Remo, and Ikenne federal constituencies ahead of the polls.
