Asake cancellation Los Angeles Concert

Nigerian Afrobeats singer Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake, has cancelled his Los Angeles concert on his ongoing ‘In God We Trust’ tour.

As of the time of filing this report, the singer has yet to reveal why he called off the show; a notice sent to ticket buyers confirmed the cancellation.

Recall that Asake planned to perform at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on September 6, 2026.

However, organisers have now cancelled the concert and will refund all ticket buyers.

“Unfortunately, this event has been cancelled. The Asake “In God We Trust” show at The Greek Theatre on Sunday, September 6th, 2026 has been cancelled.

“You will receive a refund back to your card used for payment within 5 business days. Please allow a further 2-3 days for the refund to be credited to your account. No action is required on your part.”

Meanwhile, the cancellation has sparked debate online. Some social media users claim that low ticket sales forced Asake to cancel the concert.

However, other users have rejected the claim. They argue that the concert was almost sold out before the cancellation.

Despite the growing speculation, Asake and the organisers have yet to give an official reason for the decision.

The Los Angeles concert formed part of Asake’s 13-city tour, which began in July. The tour also includes major stops in London, Paris, Atlanta, Toronto, Houston and Miami.

The tour, which began in July, was scheduled to stop in 13 cities, including major stops in London, Paris, Atlanta, Toronto, Houston, and Miami.
