…Shortlisted applicants to report at Gwagwalada college with original credentials

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has announced the schedule for the physical screening and documentation exercise for successful candidates shortlisted for recruitment into the Service.

The exercise will take place at the Nigeria Customs Command and Staff College (NCCSC), Gwagwalada, Abuja, according to a statement issued on Tuesday by the Service.

The NCS directed all shortlisted candidates to appear for the exercise with the originals and photocopies of their required credentials.

The documents include the National Identification Number (NIN), original birth certificate or declaration of age, as well as educational certificates, including O’Level, National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), degree or other applicable qualifications.

Candidates are also required to present a certificate of state of origin, two recent passport photographs, a completed guarantor’s form and NYSC certificate, where applicable.

The Service further directed candidates to appear in a white T-shirt, shorts and canvas shoes for the physical screening.

According to the NCS, candidates must report strictly on the date allocated to their respective states and cadres, warning that attendance at the exercise is compulsory.

It added that failure to appear as scheduled could lead to disqualification from the recruitment process.

The Service said candidates who successfully complete the physical screening and documentation would receive further instructions regarding subsequent stages of the recruitment exercise.

The NCS, under the leadership of the Comptroller-General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, MFR, and his management team, assured candidates and the general public that the recruitment process would remain transparent, fair and merit-based.

The Service also urged candidates to rely solely on official NCS communication channels for authentic information concerning the screening and documentation exercise.
