The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the incumbent Governor of Osun State and candidate of the Accord Party, Senator Ademola Adeleke, winner of the 2026 Osun State Governorship Election.
Adeleke polled 511,067 votes to defeat the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who secured 444,815 votes.
The result gives Adeleke a winning margin of 66,252 votes over his closest challenger.
The election recorded a total of 1,005,800 votes cast, comprising 985,079 valid votes and 20,721 rejected votes.

ZLP – 2,482
AA – 2,308
APGA – 1,474
AAC – 1,458
YPP – 534
APM – 234
SDP – 155
APP – 114
PP – 111
NLPP – 118
PRP – 83
The result was announced by the Collation Officer, Prof. Joshua Ogunwale, after the collation of results from across the state.
The 15 political parties that participated in the election were also called upon to sign the final result sheet.
Adeleke’s victory marks another electoral milestone for the governor, who has now secured a second term mandate from the people of Osun State under the platform of the Accord Party.
