New Commandant of the police Academy, Wudil Kano, AIG Auwal Musa Muhammad, has resumed as the 25th commandant of the institution in a colourful ceremony held at the Muhammadu Buhari parade ground.
Top-ranking Academy officers and guests from across the host communities graced the occasion, where the new commandant officially took the helm of the affairs of the Academy with a promise to work selflessly for the general development of the institution.
AIG Auwal Musa Muhammad, who held various positions from the beginning of his career as a police officer at both the state and zonal levels, assured that his administration would focus on staff and student welfare, environmental safety, and boosting relationships with the host communities around the Academy.
He added that ” I am here to contribute my own quota towards the progress of Police Academy Wudil Kano and to ensure that the institution’s good image remains very impressive, and I am optimistic that through excellent collaboration we would do our best to make sure that POLAC produces very competent police officers that can secure the country through wealth of professionalism”.
Furthermore, the commandant assured the Inspector-General of police IGP Disu that he would never fail in his mission to make Police Academy Wudil Kano stronger and a conducive place for graduating the best police officers that can be proud of in taking Nigeria to a higher status in policing.
AIG Musa Muhammad called on the general staff to be firm, dedicated, and work diligently to leave an excellent legacy that will continue to be a channel of real change in the Academy’s academic performance with optimum results, and commended his predecessors for their great contribution towards the rapid development of the institution without bias.
During his interactive session with the Academy’s top ranking officials at the institutiin’s conference Hall, the new commandant charged them to work with fear of God and shun anything that may becomes a breach of peace and unity in the institution to promote better academic excellence that pave ways to being the best police academy in Nigeria, where he thanked all those who worked day and night to making his resumption successful.
