Kano rural communities have commended Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for being a leader with listening ears in the provision of social amenities after their appeal on water provision.
In a series of interactive sessions with our correspondent, residents across some rural settlements described Governor Yusuf as a good leader who always attends to his people’s requests.
Malam Umar Abdullahi stated that “Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf deserves respect because he listened and acted on his people ‘s demands, which indicated that his administration is not biased”. He added.
He emphasized that they complained about a lack of water in some rural settlements. Within one week, the Kano State Government under the Abba Gida-Gida stewardship provided water to the rural populace which is a commendable task that deserve praise.
In conclusion, most of the residents who spoke about the issue of water provision stated that Kano rural communities are now enjoying best water supply for all purposes.
