Former Governor of Benue State, Chief Samuel Ortom, has debunked the 2027 presidential misleading posters making the round on social media, credited to him, that he is contesting for the 2027 Presidential elections.

In a press statement signed by Terver Akase, Ph.D, Media Adviser/ Consultant to Chief Samuel Ortom, former Governor of Benue State, on Thursday and made available to Journalists, describing it as false, misleading, and unfounded, fashioned by mischief makers and self-centered politicians bent on tarnishing the former Governor’s hard-earned political image over time as well as spreading confusion and misinformation.

According to the statement, Chief Ortom has no ambition whatsoever for the 2027 presidential race and has consistently and clearly stated that he will not be contesting for any political office in the forthcoming elections.

The statement enjoined the general public to disregard the said poster in its entirety. Stressing that it is nothing more than a fabrication designed to mislead unsuspecting citizens and stir unnecessary political speculation.
