The newly elected President General of Otolo Nnewi Development Union, Hon. Afam Tony Muodielo (Klassic) has said his administration would prioritise inclusivity, accountability and effective communication.
Muodielo, who is currently the Chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Nnewi North made the promise while speaking with some journalists at his residence in Mbanagu, Otolo Nnewi on Sunday, April 19, 2026.
According to him, progress cannot endure where there is crisis.He said his administration would resolve differences, work in tandem with entire executive to have efficient leadership geared to promote unity, peace and progress in Otolo.
“We will change the system by using social media positively not negatively. Social media must be used to the advantage of the people not a war zone. Our brothers in diaspora would actively be involved in the affairs of the community to have access to vast idea” he added.
Muodielo made it clear that his political life is different from his community life, adding that if it is community affairs, he will be sitting as a community leader, not political leader.
He thanked his People for finding him worthy for the position, promising to strengthen commitment towards development of his community. He described the election that produced him as free and fair, saying that the whole process was a big success, commending the leadership of Otolo Nnewi for conducting a free and fair election.
“I cannot afford to disappoint my community, having held different leadership positions for years now, I promise I will not disappoint but to add my wealth of experience and values towards peace and development of Otolo” he vowed.
