The family of Dennis Idahosa, Deputy Governor of Edo State, has announced the passing of his mother, Madam Esther Imaguomwanruo Idahosa, at the age of 95.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Idahosa and Enabulele families disclosed that the revered matriarch died peacefully on April 8, 2026. The late Madam Idahosa, née Enabulele, hailed from Ovia South West Local Government Area of Edo State.
Described as a woman of deep faith and strong character, the deceased was said to have lived a fulfilled and impactful life devoted to her family and community. Her legacy of wisdom and guidance, the family noted, remains a source of pride and inspiration to all who knew her.
The family expressed gratitude to God for her long life and the values she instilled in her children and generations after her.
They also appealed for prayers and understanding during this period of mourning, adding that details of the funeral arrangements would be announced at a later date.
