Nollywood actor Uzor Arukwe has revealed how he maintains professionalism when filming intimate scenes with female colleagues.
The movie star said he always establishes clear boundaries before acting in scenes that require physical closeness.
He disclosed this during an interview with BBC News Igbo.
According to Arukwe, he believes mutual understanding is necessary before any scene involving physical contact is filmed.
He explained that he usually speaks with actresses beforehand to agree on what both sides are comfortable with.
The actor said the discussions help prevent awkward or inappropriate moments on set.
He added that he deliberately avoids touching areas that may make an actress or her partner uncomfortable.
Arukwe said such precautions are necessary because acting sometimes requires close interaction.
The Nollywood star is popularly known as Odogwu Paranran from the movie Love In Every Word.
He also addressed rumours linking him romantically with several women, including his colleague Bambam.
Arukwe dismissed the speculation as false and insisted he is a married man focused on his career.
“I always discuss boundaries with any female colleague I’m asked to act with,” he said.
He added that the Odogwu character significantly boosted his career visibility.
According to him, the role opened new opportunities and brought wider recognition.
