The Lagos State Government has cautioned Nollywood actress Sarah Martins against cooking and distributing food on public roads, warning that the act violates environmental regulations.

Commissioner for Environment Tokunbo Wahab acknowledged the charitable intention behind the initiative but said cooking on streets, walkways, and medians poses safety, sanitation, and traffic risks.

The actress had previously been cautioned over similar activities last year, but was allowed to continue due to the philanthropic motive.

Authorities now insist that future outreach must take place through approved locations or face possible prosecution.
