The Hon. Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure Hon. Lawal Barau Bungudu, constituted and inaugurated a high-powered committee mandated to identify key requirements needed to further improve ongoing development projects in Gusau.

The committee is chaired by Arc. Ibrahim Agigi. Other members include Engr. Haruna Dikko, Engr. Sanusi Mande, and Engr. Bashar Galadima, while Engr. Amiru Musa Anka serves as the Secretary. The committee is tasked with assessing priority areas and making practical recommendations aimed at enhancing infrastructure and service delivery across the state capital.

Ministry of works and infrastructure, this initiative underscores the Ministry’s unwavering commitment to ensuring quality project execution, effective supervision, accountability, and sustained urban development in line with the government’s infrastructural renewal agenda.

Following its inauguration, the committee proceeded to supervise ongoing works at the Gusau International Airport. During the visit, members conducted a thorough inspection of major facilities and critically reviewed the progress of key infrastructure projects to ensure strict compliance with approved standards and specifications.

The Ministry remains committed to delivering durable and impactful infrastructure projects that will support economic growth and improve the quality of life for the people of the state.
