The Abuja Chapter of the Small Business Owners Initiative (SBOI) has announced its full endorsement of Dr. Moses Paul, the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) Chairmanship Candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC). This endorsement comes ahead of the upcoming area council elections, scheduled to hold on Saturday, February 21, 2026, in all six area councils of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The SBOI’s endorsement is a significant boost to Dr. Moses Paul’s campaign, recognizing his vision and commitment to supporting small businesses and promoting economic growth in AMAC. The group cited Dr. Paul’s dedication to creating an enabling environment for small businesses to thrive, which aligns with the SBOI’s mission to promote entrepreneurship and economic development in the community.

In a statement, the SBOI expressed confidence that Dr. Moses Paul’s leadership would bring much-needed support to small businesses, stimulate economic growth, and improve the overall quality of life for residents of AMAC.

The endorsement reads: “The Small Business Owners Initiative, Abuja Chapter is proud to announce our full endorsement of Dr. Moses Paul for the position of Chairman of Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) in the upcoming election scheduled for 21st February, 2026.”

The group highlighted the importance of small businesses in Nigeria’s economy, accounting for nearly half of the nation’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and employing over 80 percent of the workforce.

The SBOI’s endorsement is expected to galvanize support for Dr. Moses Paul’s campaign, as the organization is a respected voice for small business owners and entrepreneurs in the FCT.

Dr. Moses Paul’s campaign is built on a platform of supporting small businesses, improving infrastructure, and promoting economic development in AMAC. The SBOI’s endorsement is a testament to his commitment to these goals.

The area council elections are expected to be keenly contested, with several candidates vying for the top positions. However, with the SBOI’s endorsement, Dr. Moses Paul is well-positioned to emerge victorious and deliver on his promises to the people of AMAC.

The SBOI has called on all stakeholders, residents, and friends of enterprise development in AMAC to join them in supporting Dr. Moses Paul’s vision on 21st February 2026.

Gift Adaji, CEO Akara Xprss Abuja, signed the statement on behalf of the SBOI, emphasizing the group’s commitment to promoting entrepreneurship and economic development in the community.
