In a heartwarming display of unity, loyalty, and grassroots solidarity, the former Governor of Zamfara State and Senator representing Zamfara West, H.E Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar, has arrived in his hometown of Talata Mafara ahead of the holy month of Ramadan, marking the commencement of his annual Ramadan Welfare Distribution to the people of Zamfara State.

The distinguished Senator touched down at Sultan Abubakar III International Airport, Sokoto, accompanied by his family members and close associates. His arrival was met with an overwhelming reception from party leaders, community stakeholders, supporters, and well-wishers who gathered in large numbers to welcome their son and leader back home.

This annual homecoming is not merely ceremonial, it reflects Senator Yari’s enduring commitment to the welfare of his people and his deep-rooted connection to the grassroots. As has become his longstanding tradition, the Senator will oversee the distribution of Ramadan welfare packages to deserving beneficiaries across the state, ensuring that vulnerable families are supported during this sacred period of fasting, reflection, and compassion.

During his stay at his Talata Mafara residence, Senator Yari will also host daily Iftar gatherings, breaking fast with APC stalwarts, political stakeholders, respected clerics, youth leaders, women groups, and supporters from across the state. These gatherings will serve as moments of spiritual reflection, unity, and renewed commitment to the peace, development, and prosperity of Zamfara State.

Speaking upon his arrival, Senator Yari expressed profound gratitude for the warm reception and reaffirmed his dedication to the people.
