A dispute over a ₦100 transport levy has allegedly claimed the life of a commercial motorcyclist in Ijoko, Ogun State.

The rider was reportedly stabbed during an altercation with suspected union task force members.

The killing sparked protests across Lambe, Agbado and Akute communities.

Eyewitnesses said the confrontation escalated from a minor argument into deadly violence.

Police confirmed the incident and said investigations are ongoing.
