The last may not have been heard in the bi-sexual scandal that rocked Eyita area of ikorodu, Lagos last June 2025 as armed thugs attacked the home of one Samuel Ibhafidon Olumese, injuring people and vandalizing parts of the building.

The attack, which took place on Saturday, January 17, 2026, was witnessed by eyewitnesses who said they saw violent youths clutching dangerous weapons, damaging parts of the house and beating up anybody in sight, including Samuel’s nephew, Olumese Isaac, who was badly injured. The attackers reportedly launched the attack after getting wind of their target’s presence in the house for involvement in homosexuality.

The thugs allegedly assisted by some palace guards believed to have been hired by Adekunle Young Adetunji’s Muslims inlaws, invaded the house ostensibly to arrest him and possibly extract information about the whereabouts of their brother Adekunle Young Adetunji as they claimed not to have heard nor seen him since their involvement in the unlawful sex escapade.

The thugs apparently riding on the authority of a local traditional ruler, the Bale of Agege Lagos State were determined to humiliate Samuel to the extent of stripping him naked and possibly beating him to death if they had found him.

The Lagos State Police Command has however warned residents against quick resort to jungle justice in the street treatment for LGBT people, advising that such persons should be burned in for thorough investigation and prosecution.

It warned that the raught of the law would be visited on anyone found to have taken the law into their own hands.
