The Ogun State Police Command has arrested a suspect in connection with the death of popular singer Destiny Boy.

Police confirmed the case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department’s Homicide Section.

The arrest followed viral videos showing the singer’s lifeless body, which sparked intense speculation online.

An associate later disclosed that the singer had been battling an undisclosed medical condition.

Destiny Boy rose to fame in 2019 with a Fuji-style cover of Davido’s If.

He is survived by his partner and newborn child.

Police assured the public that further findings would be communicated as investigations continue.
