Reality TV star Josephine Ijioma Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, has denied claims that she never received her ₦100 million prize after winning Big Brother Naija in 2022.

Phyna had earlier called out BBNaija organisers in 2023 over delays in receiving some prizes, a controversy that later faded from public attention.

The issue resurfaced after a clipped video allegedly showing her complaining about unpaid winnings began trending online.

Reacting during a livestream on Twitch, Phyna insisted the video was deliberately edited to misrepresent her statement.

“They keep cutting my video. I never said I have not received my ₦100 million,” she clarified.

She explained that her comments were directed at critics mocking her for becoming a streamer, noting they never supported her during her dispute with the organisers.

Phyna warned bloggers against distorting her words, stating she would take legal action if manipulated videos landed her in trouble.
