The Executive Chairman of the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Hon. Christopher Zakka Maikalangu, has been actively engaging with various communities and faith-based organizations in the council area, reinforcing his administration’s commitment to community solidarity and inclusion.
On Saturday, Chairman Maikalangu attended the Foundation Laying Ceremony for a new project at the Assembly of God Church, Jikwoyi 1, where he actively worshipped with the congregation and received fervent prayers from church and community leaders. His presence underscores the administration’s broad commitment to engaging with and supporting all segments of the AMAC community.
The event provided a valuable opportunity for Chairman Maikalangu to interact directly with the members and leaders of the Jikwoyi community, a community that has already benefited significantly from his administration’s focus on essential infrastructure like solar boreholes, solar streetlights, and road projects.
On Sunday, Chairman Maikalangu attended the Harvest Season celebration at the Our Lady Queen of Nigeria Pro-Cathedral, Area 3, Abuja, where he interacted with the Archdiocesan leadership and parishioners. The ceremony provided a significant platform for reinforcing his focus on community solidarity and inclusion across the diverse council area.
In another development, Akpajeshi Women Association Damagaza hosted the Executive Chairman at their community meeting, where he encouraged the women and acknowledged their vital role in community development. He emphasized that women are great catalysts for progress and praised their efforts in driving positive change in the community.
Chairman Maikalangu assured the women of his administration’s commitment to supporting their initiatives, and the women appreciated his presence and words of encouragement. Also in attendance were the immediate past Rep Member AMAC Bwari Federal Constituency, Hon. Micah Jiba, traditional leaders, appointees, and supporters of the Executive Chairman of Abuja.
