The attention of the Board of Trustees of Clans Club International has been drawn to a publication circulated in the Daily Post Nigeria of November 25, 2025, wherein certain individuals — falsely parading themselves as leaders of the organization — purported to speak on behalf of Clans Club International.
In the said publication, it was wrongly asserted that Dr. Ekong Udoro is Chairman of the Grand Elders Council and Chief Oliver Orok is the International President of Clans Club International. This claim is false, misleading, and does not reflect the lawful leadership of the organization.
For the avoidance of doubt, pursuant to the judgment of the Federal High Court delivered on 10 July 2025 , the Board of Trustees duly filed and served both a Notice of Appeal and a Motion for Stay of Execution, dated 6 October 2025. These processes are presently before the Court and remain valid and subsisting.
Accordingly, no party can lawfully act upon or enforce the said judgment until the final determination of the appeal. Any attempt to do so amounts to an abuse of court process, is ultra vires, null and void, and done in contempt of ongoing judicial proceedings.
Members of the public and the entire Clans Club International family are therefore advised to disregard the publication in its entirety, as those claims do not emanate from the recognized authority within the organization.
It must be restated that the power to make decisions, issue directives, or constitute leadership within Clans Club International resides solely with the Board of Trustees, as recognized by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
Furthermore, the organization is non-political and neutral, and we dissociate ourselves completely from the political views expressed in that publication. Those statements were not authorized by Clans Club International and must not be attributed to us.
Signed:
John Adie
Chairman, Board of Trustees
Clans Club International
