Sophia Momodu has finally responded to trolls accusing her of blocking her daughter Imade from attending a recent Adeleke family wedding in the U.S., and her reply came with receipts and revelations.
After the wedding photos surfaced showing Davido’s other daughter, Hailey, but not Imade, critics flooded Sophia’s Instagram page, blaming her for “keeping Imade away.”
In a lengthy response, Sophia said she woke up to attacks on both herself and her child, but set the record straight immediately: Imade is healthy, happy, and lacking absolutely nothing.
Sophia revealed she has been Imade’s full caregiver for the past five years, personally covering every expense except school fees, which Davido’s father and late mother’s family have handled for three years.
Then came the bombshell: Davido has allegedly paid zero child support.
Despite this, Sophia insisted she has never denied Davido access to his child. She said she ensures Imade maintains a relationship with her father under safe, structured conditions, but her daughter’s well-being comes first.
For now, Sophia says her only focus is raising a child who knows no lack, with or without the superstar’s financial help.
