The Kano State NNPP Chairman, Dr. Hashimu Sulaiman Dungurawa, has described this year’s budget proposal as the channel towards the transformation of the state at both rural and urban communities.

He stated this shortly after Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf presented over 1 trillion naira as the 2026 budget proposal on Wednesday, adding that with capital projects as too priority, Kano state would record significant development after implementation.

Dr. Hashimu Dungurawa disclosed that from what had been proposed, the Kano state government under NNPP is becoming one of the most developed states that is working selflessly to render excellent services to its citizens without bias.

” I wanted to use this opportunity to thank his excellency governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and his government for making a good impact towards the progress of our great state with optimum results, and we are happy that our governor is always serious about our development in every aspect of livelihood, like what we are enjoying today”. He emphasized.

In conclusion, Dr. Hashimu Sulaiman Dungurawa commended all those who worked day and night to see that the Kano budget proposal was presented successfully before the state.
