It’s time for Kwara North to produce next Gov-  leaders

 Leaders in Kwara North Senatorial district have insisted that the next governor of the state should come from the zone.
The leaders said in a communique issued on Tuesday night after a meeting of the leaders in Ilorin.
The communique was read by HonHon Suka Baba Abubakar. 
The communique was signed by  101 leaders drawn from the five local governments in the zone.
The leaders therefore called on the two major political parties to zone their governorship candidates to KWARA North.
“The meeting calls on all political parties existing in Kwara State to ensure that they zone their 2023 gubernatorial tickets to the Kwara North Senatorial zone for equity, fairness, justice and the fear of The Almighty God.
“The meeting emphasized strongly on the need for the unity and oneness of all the people in the zone inorder to achieve total success of our collective aspiration,” the communique added.
The Kwara North leaders also implored the people of Kwara,  especially those in Kwara North to resolve all registration issues and register en masse with INEC preparatory to 2023 General Elections. 
“The meeting set up a committee for the  political and economic emancipation  that will develop a strategic  blueprint for the Kwara North Senatorial zone,” the communique added.
The communique directed that the facts finding committee earlier constituted to Investigate the suspension of the Kwara State Polytechnic Bursar, Haj Ayishat Mohammed should continue with its work.
 It added that the committee was free to co-opt anyone that may assist in the realisation of its mandate.
Among those that signed the communique were Engr Umaru Sha’aba, Sen Mohammed Shaaba Lafiagi for Edu local government, Alhaji Attahiru Manko, Rt Hon Benjamin Yisa and  Sen Ahmed Zuruk from Patigi LG.
Others were  Hon Shuaib Baba Jimoh, Chief Amos Alade Akintunde, Hon Raliat Adifa and Mrs Mary Osasona for Moro LG.
Alhaji Abdullahi Sanusi Kaiama,  Hon Isss Bawa Adamu and Hon Suka Baba Abubakar signed for Kaiama, whileRt Hon Isa Bio Ibrahim, Hon Zakari Mohamed and Alhsji Ibrahim Ibn Woru signed for Baruten.
