The Executive Chairman of Ayede Local Council Development Area Hon Aderemi Ajayi has expressed his warmest congratulations to Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji on his election as the APC consensus candidate ahead of the 2026 governorship poll in the state.

Ajayi in a statement described the process as a testament to the party’s commitment to orderliness, transparency and display of good internal democracy.

According to him, the governor’s leadership qualities, inclusive governance and superlative performances in all the 6 – point agenda of his administration has earned him the ticket seamlessly.

The council boss noted that Governor Oyebanji’s administration has transformed Ekiti State, with notable achievements since he came on board over three years ago especially in the areas of infrastructures,health,education,Agriculture just to mention a few .

He applauded the governor for his constant support to local government chairmen in the state, making it possible to bring dividends of democracy to the people at the grassroot .

He commended the process of the party’s primary election which was peaceful and devoid of political rancours among delegates, showcasing the acceptability of the Governor by all and sundry.
