Niger reaffirms it’s support to security agencies, other Federal establishments

Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago of Niger state has reassured Security agencies and other Federal government establishments in the State of his administration’s continued support to ensure improved security and better services to the people.

Governor Bago made this statement when he received on a courtesy visit, Heads of some security agencies and a Coordinator of a Federal establishment who were recently posted to the state.

They are, Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) and the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), as well as the Niger State Coordinator, National Identity Management Commission.

He stressed the need for a symbiotic relationship between the organisations and the State Government.

The Governor enjoined them to improve on their maintenance culture as his administration has been making significant efforts to making their jobs easy and efficient.

In their separate remarks, the Zonal Coordinator Zone D of the NIS, ACG Anthony Emeka Chikezie, the Comptroller of NIS, Niger State Command, Gado Ibrahim, the State Commandant, NSCDC, Suberu Siyaka Aniviye, the State Sector Commander, FRSC, Aishat Sa’ad and the State Coordinator, Nigeria Identity Management Commission (NIMC), Aisha Yahaya Muhammad commended the developmental strides of the Governor in various sectors of the economy, which they said has repositioned the State on the path of greatness.

They also applauded him for the massive support to Federal parastatals and Agencies in the State towards actualizing their mandate and appealed for more support especially in terms of logistics to aid their operations in the State even as they assured him of their unflinching support to his administration.
