The Regy & Henry Amazing Grace Foundation, in collaboration with the EL-Rakhun Foundation, successfully organized a three-day annual training workshop focused on the dangers of drug abuse and human trafficking for inmates at the Keffi Correctional Centre, Nasarawa State. The event was held from August 5 to 7, 2025.
The initiative brought together key stakeholders in the fight against drug abuse and trafficking, including officers from the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP), the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), and the Network Against Child Trafficking, Abuse and Labour (NACTAL). Officials of the Nigerian Correctional Service were also actively involved.
The training aimed to educate inmates on the risks and consequences associated with drug use and human trafficking, while also offering strategies for rehabilitation and reintegration into society. The organizers expressed hope that such interventions would contribute to reducing recidivism and promoting a safer, healthier society.
