Osun State witnessed an Unprecedented crowd recently in Osogbo as African Democratic Congress ADC flag off the party in Osogbo LG. The party leaders, Members, and supporters of the party all came out from the fifteen Wards of the local government to show their support and commitment to the party. The carnival-like event was not only about political party but a movement to take over the mantle of leadership in Osun State.
Among the dignitaries that grace the Occasion were Elder Jimoh Oganla, Alhaji Sakariyau Oyedeji, Alh Rauf Atanda, Hon. Akeem Otaoroju, Comrade Abiodun Agboola, Mr Lani Fasakin and Hon. Jamiu Raheem. Others are Hon. Kamarudeen Bamidele (DEKAM), Hon. Busayo Eselebor, Mr Toyosi Ibraheem, Hon. Moses Jasuyi, Hon. Kehinde Aresa, Alh. Isa Moruf (Murphy) and Mr. Adekunle Azeez (ADEX).
In his address during the occasion, Alhaji Sakariyau Oyedeji (MABRO), the Oba lsegun NANTMP, Southwest welcome all the party supporters to the program, assured them of the party victory in the coming Election, reiterated the fact that they have done it before and they will do it again as far as Osun State is concerned.
Alh. Sakariyau in his remarks confidently praised the efforts of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola both in Osun State and at the federal level. Obasegun stressed further that Aregbesola political sagacity across the country can never be relegated. ” Aregbesola Political relevancy in Nigeria is more than even the present Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, that the journey to take over has just began”. Affirmed that the ADC Victory is certain.
Speaking with Journalist at the occasion is the Osogbo LG Party Chairman, Alh. Isa ldowu Moruf Murphy who was visibly elated and also used the occasion to welcome both interested individuals and groups to the party, promised that ADC will be fair to all in all conducts.
On his own, Hon. Agboola Kehinde Oganla, said that ADC is ready to rebuild Osun State and Nigeria at large.” Look at the crowd, just Osogbo LG in Osun, look at what is going on across the country, you will agreed with me that ADC has come to stay for good and betterment of the country “. He summited
Hon. Mrs. Busayo Eselebor, the Women Coordinator said, she is ready to mobilize women and youth of Osogbo LG for the party, because, this is a movement in a right step in the right direction. “With our Mentor, Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola, we are good to go in Osun and even in Nigeria”. ADC is a promising party ready to mobilize, working assiduously to make Nigeria better again.
The political atmosphere in Osun State presently is getting more interesting and everything is gearing towards ADC capturing the state in the next gubernatorial election.
