The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced a one-week extension of the deadline for its ongoing paramilitary recruitment exercise.
According to a statement issued by the Secretary to the Board, Major General A.M. Jibril (Rtd), the application portal, which was initially scheduled to close on Monday, August 4, 2025, will now remain open until Monday, August 11, 2025.
The extension, the Board noted, is aimed at giving more Nigerians the opportunity to apply for enlistment into the paramilitary services under its purview.
“This extension is geared towards providing additional opportunity for applicants willing to be enlisted into any of the paramilitary services as well as the Board,” the statement read.

The Board also reiterated that the recruitment process is entirely free of charge and assured the public of its commitment to a fair, transparent, and merit-based selection process.
