Workers Day: Nasarawa Speaker promises effective Legislation that will better Workers Welfare

The Speaker of Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Danladi Jatau, has assured Workers in the State that the Legislative Arm under his leadership will continue to make Laws that would better their Welfare.
The Speaker gave this assurance on Thursday in a statement signed by his Media aid, Jibrin Gwamna, which was made available to Newsmen in Lafia, the State Capital.
Jatau, who identified with workers and acknowledged their giant contributions towards the administration of the State, said the Assembly under his watch will continue to provide all the needed support and legislation that will better the welfare of workers in the area.
While commending the State Civil Servants for their hard work, understanding, and patriotism, the Speaker said workers in the State deserve every support and motivation that will spur them to be more productive.
The speaker, who also applauded Workers in the State for their level of patience and understanding with the Government always, charged them to remain committed and peaceful and work for the development of the State.
He thanked the Governor, Abdullahi Sule, for giving attention to workers’ welfare, training, and retraining, prompt payment of salaries, pension, and gratuity for retirees as well as the employment of casual workers in the State into the mainstream civil service.
