APC Congress: Ebonyi will witness most peaceful congress- Emegha

The caretaker chairman of All Progressive Congress APC Ebonyi State, Chief Stanley Okoro-emegha, on Friday, guaranteed a peaceful atmosphere in the forthcoming APC congress in the State.
Emegha disclosed this to newsmen in Abakaliki as the party prepares for its state congress.
According to Emegha, the unity found among the stakeholders of the party in the state has proven that the Congress will be transparent and crisis free.
Recall that the Congress was earlier slated to hold on 5th Oct 2021, before it was shifted to Saturday 16th.
His words “Obviously the party is prepared and have witnessed peaceful congresses from ward level to the local government level. That has proven that APC is in the state are United. There is no crisis in APC and our state Congress is going to be the most peaceful congresses ever witness” he said
The caretaker chairman who is also one of the contestants in the Chairmanship race of the party, said his target is to see APC as a unified party that will stand strong in the test of time both in development and Progress of the party at all general elections.
He then urged the Party delegates to vote for a popular candidate for the position of Chairman to help ease the party work.
“The beauty of democracy is contest, I will go to the field with other contestants and whosoever that wins, the most important thing is to drive to a point in unity. But I want to urged the delegates to vote for a popular candidate in tomorrow Congress to ease the party work. You know you cannot stand election with unpopular person but with popular person, it will be fair and smooth.
“When you are using someone who is not popular to be doing mobilization it will be difficult. So the opinion of the masses is what APC is driving at”. He said
