Desperate politicians orchestrated crisis in Mokwa –PDP Chairman

It has been revealed that the recent crisis that erupted between the National assembly member representing Lavun, Edati, and Mokwa federal constituency in Niger state, Dr Joshua Audu Gana was orchestrated by desperate and mischievous politicians calculated to curse disunity for their selfish gains.
People’s Democratic Party PDP Chairman of the Mokwa local government area, Alh Suleman Kukpanti, confirmed this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Minna at the weekend.
He expressed dismay over the attitude of some respected individuals in the party trying to cause chaos before defecting from PDP to another political party, stressing that such an act is condemned by the members of PDP in the Mokwa local government area.
Alh Suleman Kukpanti pointed out that “nobody is against anybody to defect to any political party they so wish, but should exhibit the act of maturity instead to resorting to verbal comments against a highly respected National assembly member who has been committed to the wellbeing of the people.
“I have been a PDP member for over twenty years and can not move to any other political party for the fact that PDP has laid a good foundation in governance compared to other political parties governing the country till now.
“It is an act of great and greed for one to be shuttling within the political parties, this singular act by politician’s has been the bane of democracy due to the pursuit of materialistic things”
