The Nigeria police force Ebonyi State headquarter has On March 30, 2025, at approximately 8:30pm, received information regarding a kidnapping incident near Mile 50 in Abakaliki.

The Operatives from the command were dispatched immediately to pursue the kidnappers.

On the process they tracked an ash-coloured Toyota Corolla with reg no: SKA 828 AA, which was used by the kidnappers, to Tina Nweze Street in Mile 50, Abakaliki.

Under pressure from the operatives, the kidnappers abandoned the victim, the Toyota Corolla, and a Toyota Sienna vehicle belonging to the victim. The operatives successfully recovered these vehicles, which are now at the command headquarters for identification by their owners.

CP Adaku Uche-Anya, fdc, reiterates the command’s commitment to the police mandate of protecting lives and property.

She also urges the residents of Ebonyi State to contact the command’s control room on in any distress situation.
