Irewolede LCDA Chairman embraces Gov Oyebanji’s IPP initiative

In a bid to enhance productivity and create a more efficient working environment, the Chairman of Irewolede Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. (Mrs) Dupe Bakare has installed Solar lights at the council secretariat

The Chairman’s initiative aimed to address the persistent issue of unstable electricity supply and ensure uninterrupted power for the smooth operation of the council activities.

Speaking on the development, Hon. Bakare lauded the Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, for creating the enabling environment for local councils in the State to provide the dividends of democracy to the people at the grassroots.

She reaffirmed her commitment to making Irewolede LCDA One of the best in Ekiti State through progressive infrastructural development and staff welfare initiatives.

“As part of my vision for a conducive working environment, we are not only solving the electricity challenge but also executing a multi-million Naira Administrative block project, which is currently ongoing at the Secretariat.” She stated.

Hon. Bakare, commended the support and cooperation of the Irewolede LCDA management, acknowledging their contributions as a key factor behind her administration’s achievements and solicited for more support.

She further noted that all her initiatives align with the Six pillars of the Governor of Ekiti State, His Excellency Biodun Oyebanji, aimed at driving sustainable development across the State and urged the people and staff to intensify their support for the State and Local Government authorities.

The council chairman reassured residents and staff of her continuous effort to implement projects that will enhance the growth and development of Irewolede LCDA.
