The Iyin Public Servants Forum(IPSF) in Ekiti State has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for approving the establishment of the Federal University of Technology and Environmental Science, Iyin Ekiti.

The forum equally appreciated Governor Biodun Oyebanji, the Senate leader, Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele, and those God has used to facilitate the establishment of the university in the city of praise.

The commendations were contained in a statement by the chairman of the forum, who is also the permanent secretary of the Local Government Pension Transitional Arrangement department, Mr Foluso Akinwumi.

The forum chairman described the approval as a significant milestone in the development of Iyin Ekiti and Ekiti State as a whole, adding that the benefits of the newly established university are enormous.

The group felicitated with the Oluyin of Iyin Ekiti, His Royal Majesty, Oba Adeola Adeniyi Ajakaye, and all sons and daughters of Iyin as the town has now become a university town.
