Musicians Offer Limited Support to Nollywood –Timini Egbuson

Renowned actor Timini Egbuson has suggested that musicians do not extend as much support to the Nigerian film industry as actors do to the music scene.
Expressing his thoughts, Egbuson stated that he wished musicians would be more supportive of Nollywood.
“I really wish musicians supported Nollywood the way we support their music, but that’s a conversation for another day,” he posted on his X account on Sunday.
The Nigerian entertainment industry has seen significant crossover between film and music. Over time, many musicians have appeared in Nollywood films, while several actors have ventured into music, often collaborating with artists.
Additionally, some actresses have taken roles as vixens in music videos, further strengthening the link between both industries.
