It was a memorable moment as All Progressive Congress (APC) frontline aspirant for Anambra South Senatorial by-election, Dozie Ikedife Jnr. Hosted the APC Deputy National Chairman (North), Hon. Ali Bukar Dalori.
Hon. Ali Bukar Dalori is the newly appointed Board Chairman of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital (NAUTH), Nnewi, by Mr President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR. He recently made an inaugural visit to NAUTH, Nnewi.
Addressing Newsmen on Saturday, 15th of February, 2025 at the event held at IkedifeJnr residence at Otolo, Nnewi, Ikedife said members of APC in Anambra State, especially in Nnewi decided it was important that they show solidarity and give Dalori, whom he called a party man and APC leader in Nigeria, a
warm reception.
With Dalori at the event were the Deputy National Secretary of APC, Chief Festus Fauntera, the National Vice Chairman of South East APC, Dr Ijeomah Arodigbo, the State Chairman of APC Borno State, the women leader of Borno State, among other dignitaries who graced the occasion.
Ikedife Jnr. He disclosed that Dalori had promised to do his best to expand their Teaching Hospital and make the hospital a medical tourism center in Nigeria.
Ikedife Jnr further disclosed they were on their way to having the best hospital in Nigeria with the help of NAUTH Chief Medical Director, Prof Joseph Ugboaja OON, adding that with his help, the target would be surpassed.
Dalori, according to Ikedife, has been actively involved in APC politics and was extremely happy to be received by a mammoth crowd who were members of APC in Nnewi North.
Ikedife Jnr disclosed that the Chairman of Nnewi North APC made a request that the team members of APC in Nnewi North would be remembered for future employment at the NAUTH based on qualification, which Dalori promised to look into.
He further noted that his visit had helped to stir the base of the party at the grassroots, adding that all the Ward chairmen came, ward Executives came, and all the ward members came too, revealing that they were all happy to see him.
He further revealed that they were gearing for a Senatorial election and also gearing for a governorship election, reaffirming that they would be victorious.
Speaking, Hon. Prince Innocent Obi, Chairman APC in Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra State in the same vein, appreciated Dalori’s visit, commending Ikedife Jnr’s undiluted commitment and his doggedness in making Dalori’s visit a success.
He urged Dalori, as members of the ruling party in Nigeria, APC, at the grassroots, to be included in employment opportunities for qualified indigenes and residents of Nnewi at NAUTH.
