Kaduna Commissioner praises Tinubu, as NBSA revives after 32 years

In a significant development, the Kaduna State Commissioner for Sports Development, Prof. Benjamin Kumai Gugong, has commended the President of the Nigeria Baseball, Softball and LittleLeague Association (NBSA), Uche Odozor, for his efforts in reviving the sport after a 32-year hiatus.
Speaking at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja, Prof. Gugong praised the NBSA president for his dedication to the sport and encouraged the young baseball players to remain committed to their personal development and the growth of baseball in Nigeria.
The commissioner also reaffirmed his commitment to replicating the sporting industry in Kaduna, highlighting the benefits of baseball in promoting mental well-being, developing calculation skills, and contributing to national development.
In addition, the NBSA president, Mr. Uche Odozor, congratulated the first set of baseball, softball, and Little League players being trained since 1993 and thanked the Chairman of the National Sports Commission for supporting the revival of the sport.
The NBSA Director of Administration, Dr. Armstrong Oguche, praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his interest in the NBSA and announced that the association has commenced weekend training sessions in Abuja, Lagos, Ilorin, Niger, and other parts of the country.
