Hon. Prince Ogueke Nwafor Orizu, a councilorship candidate under the platform of PDP in the just concluded Chairmanship election, has on Sunday, 26th of January, 2025, commended Governor Soludo’s security initiative aimed at restoring peace and security in the State.

While addressing Newsmen in his residence at Otolo, Nnewi, Ogueke said security of lives and property should be the first in the State before any other thing.

He added that without security, investment would not take place and advised the Government to implement the law immediately to checkmate native doctors in the State.

Speaking about the forthcoming Anambra South Senatorial election, he said Prince Onwa Nwafor Orizu remained the best candidate for the position.

Ogueke described Onwa as a man who, according to him, has the capacity and capability to make Anambra South the best zone.

“As my brother, I know what he is capable of doing. I am not saying that others are not qualified, but Onwa has all it takes to fight godfatherism because he is not a man who can easily be manipulated,” he said.

“As a strong Stakeholder in PDP, he advised the party to move on with the people that would contribute immensely to the growth of the party.

He said undoubtedly that PDP members remained strong and would massively support their own, Onwa.

He encouraged the people of Anambra South to look well for a candidate who would truly represent them in the Red Chamber.

“We need to know who exactly we are voting for. This is not a State election, I strongly believe that our votes will count this time around. I believe INEC will give us a free and fair election” he added.

He further advised the people of Nnewi to utilize this opportunity by bringing out at least two outstanding candidates they would support for the race, adding that United they stand but divided they fall.

Speaking on the Nzuko Ora election, Ogueke said Prof. Edwin Chukwuma remained his preferred candidate because of his personality.

He said that it was the turn of the Nsunano kindred in Otolo, Nnewi, to bring a candidate, but it seemed they were not ready.

“What we need now is somebody like Chukwuma. We don’t need someone that can easily be manipulated. This is what will make Nnewi great again.

“We need somebody that will stand on his own and do things that will be beneficial to the people of Nnewi. Oyi is the man that will put an end to godfatherism in the community” he said.
