Otti calls on stakeholders to close ranks, move Abia forward

The Governor of Abia state, Dr. Alex Otti, has called on stakeholders from all sides of political devices to close ranks and move the state forward.

He made this call on Tuesday while receiving in the audience the former Governor of Abia state and Senator representing Abia North Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Dr.Orji Uzor Kalu at his Nvosi Country home in Isialanqwa South LGA, Abia state.

Governor Otti reiterated his stance that “After Campaigns, Elections, and Litigations are over, governance takes center stage, hence the need for stakeholders to close ranks to ensure dividends of democracy get to the people.”

He emphasized that the welfare of the people remains the top priority of his administration.

Otti thanked Senator Kalu for always finding time to visit and encouraging him irrespective of differences in political party affiliations.

Senator Kalu, in his remarks, said that he came to see the Governor as the father of the State and to wish him a happy New Year.

He equally thanked the Governor for receiving him on very short notice and for always keeping his doors open for him. 

He introduced a team from China Power to the Governor and his team for possible collaboration in the development of Abia’s power sector and other areas of interest.
