Kebbi State Governor, His Excellency, Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, has approved the appointments of two new District Heads.

Hon. Commissioner Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Alhaji Garba Umar Dutsinmari disclosed this in a statement issued to newsmen in Birnin Kebbi on Friday.

He listed the two district heads as Musa Jibo Kanya, the district head of Kanya in Zuru Emirate, and Alhaji Sa’idu Ibrahim S/Kudu, the district head of Mungadi (Sarkin Mungadi).

While assuring that the appointment was made based on merit, Dutsinmari urged them to be disciplined, honest, transparent, and dedicated in the discharge of their respective roles.

“Your appointment was done based on your records, be rest assured of the ministry’s support and cooperation,” he pledged.
