Kano Pillars hosts  Niger Tornadoes in the NPFL 25 encounter

Niger Tornadoes hits men; Sabiu Ibrahim and Victor Okoro will be on duty as they Set To the Future Against Kano Pillars.

The Duo Makes The Trip To Battle The North Western Team after a short break from the national assignment.

Niger Tornadoes and Flying Eagles promising midfielder Sabiu Ibrahim has rejoined his teammate, the Ikon Allah Boys, fter weeks of trial abroad. 

The player who plays for the triumphant Flying Eagles side in the recently concluded WAFU B Tournament is back to fill the void left by the absence of mercurial midfielder Papa Daniel who is equally in the Super Eagles B camp preparing for the CHAN Qualifiers.

Sabiu who had scored a goal and provided one assist since making his NPFL debut with the Ikon Allah Boys, is an indigene of Kano State and cherishes the opportunity to play against his state team, Kano Pillars.

During an interactive session with Sports Writers,   Sabiu described the encounter against Kano Pillars as important and one he always wishes to play in. 

“To play in the NPFL and against Kano Pillars at the Sani Abacha Stadium has been my long-time dream, and I’m happy it’s becoming a reality.” I can’t wait for the match to give my best and help my team.” Sabiu Ibrahim summed up.

In the same vein, experienced midfielder Victor Okoro returns to the traveling squad after missing two away games, the reliable midfielder provides depth and stability which are vital in any midfisetupt up, with his top-notch league experience, he is always expected to make a significant impact in tough fixtures like the upcoming match against Kano Pillars.

The Ikon Allah Boys picked a vital 1-1 draw against Kano Pillars at the Sani Abacha Stadium last season. Tornadoes are among the best travelling teams this season having recorded two wins, and two draws on the road.
