Update: Banks shutdown over fear of vandalism in Ogun

Banks in the commercial hub of Ogun State have all shutdown following the protest in the state capital, Abeokuta on Tuesday morning.

Most banks along Lagos/Abeokuta express road, like Zenith, GTCO, FCMB, ECO, UBA, Fedility among others were seen with multitudes of customers in front of their banks in spite of the banks seen close down with know sight of their securities

Consequently, it is seen as many Nigerians were standing in fractions as all the Automated Teller Machine were not working, meanwhile the banks authorities were alledged to have shutdown their service including the ATMs.
