Popular Nollywood actor and filmmaker Segun Ogungbe appears to have reconciled with his estranged partner, actress Wunmi Ajiboye, nearly three years after their highly publicised breakup.

Their separation had generated major controversy in 2023 after Wunmi publicly acknowledged Lagos transport union leader Musiliu Akinsanya while seemingly ignoring Ogungbe at her mother’s burial ceremony.

The incident intensified rumours that the Nollywood couple had parted ways.

At the time, Wunmi also faced accusations of having a romantic relationship with MC Oluomo, claims she strongly denied.

Reacting to the backlash, the actress urged Nigerians to stop dragging her online over the situation.

She further insisted that she and Ogungbe were never legally married despite having two children together.

“We were never married. He doesn’t know my people. We only have kids together,” she had said.

However, in a surprising twist, both actors were recently seen embracing and holding each other during the premiere of Ogungbe’s new movie Irete on Sunday, fueling speculation that the former couple may have finally settled their differences.
