Music mogul Don Jazzy has sparked debate after laying down blunt rules about the kind of woman he is willing to date.
The Mavin Records boss shared his personal preferences while appearing on the Is This Seat Taken podcast hosted by actress Chinasa Anukam.
During the conversation, the celebrated producer insisted that calmness and softness are non-negotiable qualities for any woman hoping to be in a relationship with him.
Don Jazzy explained that he prefers women who are emotionally gentle and easy to relate with.
According to him, relationships filled with tension, arguments, or aggression are a complete turn-off.
He said he deliberately stays away from situations where shouting or hostility becomes part of daily interaction between couples.
The music executive added that the moment a woman raises her voice at him or acts aggressively, he quickly walks away.
He stressed that he refuses to remain in any relationship that brings unnecessary stress or emotional pressure.
He said: “My ideal woman for dating in order of importance, first of all, you have to be a freak. I don’t know how I found that out but it is one. Secondly, you have to be soft both in body and personality. Because if you shout at me, you are dating yourself. I don’t like stress. I don’t tolerate stress and violence. The moment you try to be nonchalant or violent, you will not see me again.
“You will just realise that you are dating yourself. You have to be soft in body and personality because I don’t like being shouted at. I avoid situations where there is unnecessary tension or hostility in a relationship. If a woman behaves cold or carelessly, I prefer to step away rather than continue. Physical closeness and affection are important in a relationship for me. I have stayed single to focus on my career and building my record label.”
