The speaker Kano State House of Assembly, Rt Honourable jibril Ismail Falgore has extended his heartfelt condolences to the people and the Kano State government over the outbreak of the popular singa market fire incident. 

This was contained in a statement signed by the speaker’s Spokeperson, Kamaluddeen Sani Shawai on Sunday. 

Falgore described the incident as a devastating and unfortunate incident that consumed goods and properties worth billions of naira. 

“It’s with deep sorrow and a profound sense of great loss of shops and properties that on behalf of the Kano State House of Assembly, extended our sympathies to the victims, their families and everyone affected by the fire Incident.

Falgore added”  Falgore further urged the business community and the people to remain steadfast and gave maximum support to emergency personnel in continue efforts to tackle the fire outbreak. 

He noted that, the intervention of firefighters and security agencies by responding on timely to effectively tackle the outbreak is highly commendable while calling upon relevant authorities to urgently intervene by providing modern equipment to contain such devastating fire Incident.
