The Kano State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Honourable Jibril Ismail Falgore has expressed shock and sympathy over the families of those involved in a tragic accident in Gezawa Local Government in Kano State. 

This was contained in a statement released by the speaker’s spokesperson, Kamaluddeen Sani Shawai, on Monday.

Falgore described the ghastly accident that took place in Kwanar Barde as a great loss not only to those affected families but to the people of Kano State in general. 

Furthermore, Falgore applauded the commitment and prompt response by His Excellency Engr Abba Kabir Yusuf for giving orders of free medical care for survivors, describing such a noble gesture as a sign of good leadership centered around social justice, fairness, and social services.

This timely response is indeed highly commendable. “It’s with deep sorrow and profound sense of loss that, on behalf of the Kano State House of, extended heartfelt condolences to their families, the Kano State government and the people of Kano State, Falgore said”. 

“May Allah forgive their shortcomings of our departed brothers and sisters and grant them eternal rest, he concluded.
