Cristiano Ronaldo’s late penalty proved meaningless as Al-Nassr slipped to a second straight Saudi Pro League defeat, falling 2-1 to Al-Qadsiah.
Julian Quiñones and Nahitan Nández struck to give the visitors a commanding two-goal cushion, leaving Al-Nassr chasing shadows despite a late push.
Al-Nassr showed early intent, with Kingsley Coman seeing his first-minute effort blocked before Koen Casteels smothered another chance.
Al-Qadsiah gradually seized control, with Quiñones forcing Nawaf Al-Aqidi into a sharp save before the break.
Six minutes into the second half, Al-Aqidi’s careless clearance rebounded off Quiñones and rolled into an empty net.
Moments later, following a lengthy delay and goalkeeper substitution, Nández smashed home a rebound to double Al-Qadsiah’s lead.
Al-Nassr were handed a lifeline when Jehad Thikri conceded a handball penalty, which Ronaldo converted confidently in the 81st minute.
Despite late pressure and a missed header from Coman, the equaliser never arrived, leaving Al-Nassr four points behind leaders Al-Hilal.
